1. What did you do?
To make this tie-dye, I had to first, take a part of the fabric and tie them around with some rubbers (according to how I want it to be) and made sure that the rubbers are tightened strongly. Second, I began dyeing them in the dyes in accordance with my design in mind. Third, after I dyed them, I dried it with a cloth hanger. Fourth, I opened the rubbers and then found the result of my tie-dye.
2. What had been the success/failure?
Success: The success had been that the colors mixed, as I wanted it to be. The colors mixed and it created a strong mixture of color, which is good in my opinion.
Failure: The failure of my tie-dye task is that the fabric that is between the rubbers that had been tied around it doesn’t have a really clear color.
3. What will you do better/differently?
Next time, what I’ll do differently is that I’ll make sure that I don’t only tie the rubbers around tightly, but I also dip the fabric that suppose to have the color thoroughly until it actually has the color.
